John Brown was an abolitionist and a religious fanatic. Some say that Brown is a martyr while others believe he was a terrorist. Brown believed he was an instrument of God.<\/p>\n<p>In October 1859 Brown and a band of 21 men seized the United States Armory at Harpers Ferry, Virginia.
